Officially launched in March 2021, the China Apparel Science and Technology Innovation Platform is affiliated with the China National Garment Association. Adopting an integrated model of government, industry, academia, research and end-user application, it aims to build an authoritative, professional and open technological innovation platform and service institution for the apparel industry. The platform has established seven working groups covering digital transformation, smart wearable technology, responsive supply chain and other key sectors.

It has built cooperative relationships with more than 80 professional apparel colleges and research institutions nationwide, gathering nearly 200 industry experts. Committed to pooling high-quality industry intellectual and innovative resources, the platform supports industrial technological innovation activities and fosters a sound industrial innovation ecosystem. It provides solid support and leading momentum for the high-quality development of the apparel industry toward high-end, intelligent, green and integrated growth.
